Dear Dr. Mary Mailander and Terracina Pediatric staff,

The nurses on the phone have always been happy to help with our problems, and it was always nice to come into the office and see all your kind and smiling faces.  From my child having jaundice when he was a newborn to my daughter's medical condition including broken bones, (and so many other things in between) you have been there for us, and I cannot express my appreciation enough.  We have been treated so well, and I feel you have gone above and beyond in your care for my kids.  I feel you have come to know my kids so well, and we know you  all so well, and I am very sad to leave.  I would like to hope we are not leaving forever, and that insurance will change and we will have an opportunity to come back, but at this point I just don't know.  (I can hope, though J ). We are going to miss you all so much!!

I really do not like writing this note, because it makes me so sad.  Let me tell you, giving up all of you was the very last thing in the world I wanted to do. It actually makes me upset when I think of Dr. Mary Mailander not being my kids' doctor.
