Team coached by a BMG doctor goes to Junior Olympics

The Southern California Roadrunners, coached by Dr. Michael Leong, competed at the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships on Dec. 13 in Virginia.

The Roadrunners sent 67 runners in 8 teams to compete with each team placing among the top 10 in the country. The Roadrunners came home with two teams placing in the top three and 10 individuals earning All- American honors. The Midget boys team brought home the National team championship and the Intermediate boys team placed third.
