Online Cancer Education Series

Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with cancer? Beaver Medical Group’s Health Education Department is hosting a monthly Online Cancer Education Series over the course of the year. The 12-month integrative program is designed to educate patients, families and caregivers on ways to optimize wellness and how to address challenges that arise throughout the continuum of cancer care. Our team of interdisciplinary health professionals will cover topics such as proper nutrition, the risks and benefits of dietary supplements, symptom management, survivorship and much more!

Classes will be held on a monthly basis - the fourth Wednesday of every month at 2:00 PM - beginning January 27th, 2021. There is no cost to participate in this program.

The first class, “Living with Cancer” will be led by oncologist Walter Tsang, MD on January 27th from 2-3 PM. He will provide information and guidance for patients, families and caregivers surrounding the disease and adjustments to routines, roles and relationships.
