Beaver Medical Group opens the new Yucaipa facility

Beaver Medical Group opened a new Yucaipa Valley facility located at 33758 Yucaipa Boulevard on Monday, January 28, 2008. The brand new 25,000 square foot office is in the Yucaipa Valley Center at the intersection of Oak Glen Road and Yucaipa Boulevard.

Eighteen primary care physicians and specialists from the California Street and Fourth Street Yucaipa facilities are relocating to the new Yucaipa Valley facility. In addition, Beaver Medical Group is recruiting a new Primary Care Physician to practice at the Yucaipa facility in the future.

The new Beaver Medical Group Yucaipa Valley facility include lab draw stations, x-ray, an optical shop, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Optometry. An on-site Patient Representative is available to provide an orientation, answer questions about the services and staff, help patients choose a physician, and to handle billing questions. The Beaver Health Education Department is conducting free diabetic classes on-site. In addition, dietitians and nurses from Health Education offer private appointments at the Yucaipa facility for nutrition counseling, insulin instruction and blood glucose monitoring.
