Dear Patient,
Beaver Medical Group is here to support our
community in this time of great need. If you need to be seen for any health
reason, please contact your primary care physician's office and we will take
care of you.
The safety and well-being of our patients,
healthcare workers and staff is our top priority at Beaver Medical Group
At this time, we are minimizing in-person clinic
visits as much as possible to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the
community. Your clinician's office will contact you if we need to postpone your
scheduled visit or replace it with a telephone visit. We may very well be able
to address your health needs by phone. If you have questions about an
upcoming appointment, please call your provider's office or
reach out through MyChart.
Please know that your physician will be available
if you need to be seen for an urgent health matter or if your health status
changes. For your safety, we are
implementing controlled access measures at our facilities. All Beaver
non-urgent on-site services - including labs and allergy
visits - will be conducted during the business hours of 8am-5pm.
Urgent Care hours remain unchanged. Visitors will not be permitted in
offices or urgent care centers except those essential to the patient's
well-being and care.
If you have cough,
fever or other respiratory symptoms, please call your primary care doctor's
office to discuss your symptoms and determine if in-person evaluation is
necessary. Our phones are staffed 24/7. After-hours, you will reach the
Nurse Advice Helpline.
Additional information about COVID-19 can be found
at the CDC or the Beaver Medical Group website. Thank you for
your understanding and patience during this unprecedented and challenging time.
We all are responding together to ensure the health and safety of our
community.
All the best,
Charles Chen, MD
Senior Medical Director
