Ride the Coach

This is the inaugural year for Ride The Coach Family Bike Ride and Health Expo, and all are welcome to come and join in the festivities. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Playhouse Bowl, which is a local nonprofit organization that provides free weekly concerts to the community during the month of August. As this event grows, future proceeds will also benefit local charities.
Ride the Coach will feature a family bike ride, a festival and a health expo. The bike rides will include routes of five, ten and twenty-five miles, as well as a metric century. The first 300 riders for the rides of 25 miles or more will receive a custom t-shirt. There will also be fun rides for children ages 5 & under and 10 & under, which will take place at the Nicolet School circular track. Every child registered will recieve a string back pack. Bike helmets are required and will be for sale for $5 at the event.
The Health Expo will offer free health screenings and information, and the Festival will have food and entertainment in the Playhouse Bowl. A local band, Radio Flyers will perform from 10 AM-2PM. An L.A. based band, Ann LIkes Red, with full service rockand roll, will perform from noon to 2PM. Health Expo and Festival will take place on Saturday, June 2nd from 9AM-2PM. The fun will take place at Repplier Park near the Community Center at 789 N. San Gorgonio Avenue, Beaumont, CA 921831. So bring the family out for a day of fun!
Registration costs and start times are:
63 mile - $40; start at 8 AM
34 mile - $40; start at 8:30 AM
25 mile - $30; start at 9 AM
10 mile - $20; start at 9 AM
Students are $5 less
Registration can be done in advance on the web site: www.RidetheCoach.org. Registration on the day of the event will be $5 more for each ride. Check or cash only.
