Lights for Little Lives Memorial Walk

Please come and join us this New Year's Eve for the 13th annual Lights for Little Lives Memorial Walk in Loma Linda, CA. Each year, the Unforgettables Foundation hosts the memorial walk, candle lighting, child naming and awards ceremony to reflect on the lives of our area children that have gone too soon. Hundreds attend to remeber the lives and journeys of these children, and the special place they have in our hearts.

Beaver Medical Group is a proud sponsor of this event, and is pleased to announce that the San Bernardino County Medical Society has chosen Beaver Medical Group Pediatrician, Dr. Mary Mailander as this year's recipient of the Top Doc Award for her care and compassion towards area children. The Top Doc Award will be presented during the awards ceremony just before the start of the walk.

Following the awards ceremony, there will be a three block walk led by boy scouts, children, physicians, firemen, funeral professionals, and faith community leaders. The walk will take participants down Anderson Street to the Campus Hill Church for the 30 minute ceremony of candle lighting and name reading.

This wonderful event is free and open to the public. The group assembles in the parking lot of the Ronald McDonald House, which is located at 11365 Anderson St, Loma Linda, at 3:30 PM. There is also a low desert  walk scheduled on December 30th at the Palm Desert Civic Center, 43900 San Pablo Ave. For more information regarding the low desert walk, please call (760) 837-7373.
