Highland Citrus Festival PhotoBring the family for lots of fun at the City of Highland's Thirteenth Annual Citrus Harvest Festival on March 28, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The sounds of swing music and vision of couples in turn-of-the-century regalia will evoke fond thoughts of historic Highland. The Event will be held in the Highland Historic District at the intersection of Palm Avenue and Main Street.  If it rains on March 28th, event date will change to April 4, 2009.

The City of Highland's Annual Citrus Harvest Festival is a one day, family-oriented street festival that celebrates the rich citrus history of Highland and is usually held in March. The main focus is to exhibit the lifestyle, crafts and trades prevalent in the late 1800's and early 1900's with historical demonstrators. The Festival also includes a Classic/Antique Car Show, Historic Home Tour, live entertainment, games, contests, vendors, food court, and much, much more. On stage will be bands, dancing, pie-eating contests, an ugly dog contest and more!
