Put Prevention Into Practice

Beaver's Preventive Care Task Force developed booklets and screening guidelines to help you take charge of your health care. Our doctors/ providers follow a program of preventive care, based on recommendations by the US Preventive Services Task Force. Beaver's Task Force encourages you to ask your personal physician or physician extender about the recommendations in the guide. Together you can design a program of preventive health care suited to your particular needs.

These booklets are in Adobe Acrobat Reader Format - Just click on the links below to view.
If you don't have Acrobat Reader, it is available for free through adobe.com.
A printed booklet is also available from your physician, or by calling Health Education at 335-4131.

You may save a loved one’s life!
Make sure everyone in your family starts colon cancer screenings at age 50. Read more information about colon cancer risks and screenings. Look at the screening guidelines below to see other screenings recommended for your own age group.
